Here is a nice small motel West of Casey about 7 miles away.  We had riders stay over at this motel in the past everyone said is was a good price,  clean and nice.  Usually, mention Moonshine Lunch Run and you will get a discount there.

Super 8 - Marshall, IL - (217) 826-8043 - Map

It has a pool and I know of many who stay at this motel and all say it is nice.  Just a 100 yards from McDonalds.  Usually, you ask for the Moonshine Lunch Run rate.

Right across from McDonalds.  People I know have stayed there and said it was nice.  Usually, you ask for the Moonshine Lunch Run rate.

+ side - Close, well run, nice place and very close.
- side - Close to I-70 and noise would be a factor.

Casey Park - Casey, IL
+ side - CLOSE to everything, cheap and and well lit.
- side - Trains, many of them.

Lincoln Trail State Park - Info

+ side - Super nice 5 mile loop around the park.  I can ride around it 10 times and not get tired of going around.  Quiet and nice.  Really good place to eat with a super view right inside the park too.
- side - 22 miles away from Casey and camping spots are sort of flat.

Fox Ridge State Park - Info

+ side - Great park, very nice camping sites, close to Charleston for "Supplies" and Quiet.
- side - 20 miles away from Casey.
